The crème de la crème of the gaming industry gathered last night in Barcelona for the annual Global Gaming Awards Europe, Middle East & Africa. The invite-only event recognized the top companies and executives leading innovation and success across casinos, online betting, slots and more in 2025.

“Huge congrats to all of the phenomenal companies nominated this year,” said Mariya Savova, the event manager. “The competition gets tougher each year, so even being shortlisted is a massive achievement.”

She thanked the sponsors, especially lead partner BetConstruct, for supporting the awards. A panel of 50 gaming execs selected the winners in 16 categories, from Retail Operator of the Year to Executive of the Year.

Superbet nabbed Retail Operator honors, while online powerhouse Bet365 won for Online Sports Betting Operator. Aristocrat Gaming took home the Casino Supplier award, and Pragmatic Play won for Online Casino Supplier.

Other winners included Soft2Bet for Breakthrough Company, Betsson Group for Social Responsibility, and Uri Poliavich of Soft2Bet for Executive of the Year.

“The Global Gaming Awards recognize merit and innovation above all else,” said Savova. “So congratulations to all the phenomenal companies and leaders recognized tonight!”

Winners were presented custom awards on stage and will be featured on the Global Gaming Awards website. With its glamorous ceremony and A-list attendee list, the event cements itself as a can’t-miss staple in the gaming world.
